This 24"
raggedy has a boxed and weighted bottom that allows her
to sit on the edge of a shelf allowing her legs and
gingerbread garland to hang down in front of her.
The cocoa recipe on her apron is done with a fine line
Pigma pen and the gingerbread are made from muslin then
painted. Caution: This pattern contains about a
thousand calories. :-) |

Both of these 25" elfish raggedies are
included in the pattern. Ann and Andy have boxed
and weighted bottoms. They're dressed for the
winter holidays from the tops of their stocking caps to
tips of their painted curly-toe shoes. Fill the pockets
on her apron and on the knees of his pants with resin
miniatures, mini pine cuttings and candy canes. I
finished these off with just a touch of textured snow. |

What a great raggedy pattern from my
daughter Revere! Phyllis measures 32" tall and has
a darling whimsical expression. Her coat is made
from an old bedspread. This is a doll that grunges
up very nicely. |

Annie Lynn is a darling 23 1/2" raggedy
who is a bit more on the traditional side. She
wears a simple to sew lace trimmed pinafore. I
prefer to make this doll with a light tea/vanilla stain. |

Make one or a bunch of these easy 9
1/2" raggedies. To make the swag, tack them
together securely at the fingertips and stitch rag strip
or jute ties to the hands of the dolls on the ends.
I like to mix up the colors in the homespun dresses when
I make these for shows -- that way they blend in with so
many different color decorating schemes. These
work great hung across a window as well as a wall and
they take to grunging very nicely. |
