18" freestanding snowman, made from
Warm & Natural cotton batting and then tea-stained and
stiffened. |

The snow family is made from Warm &
Natural cotton batting and measures 17" to the top of
Dad's hat. There are two main pieces for the
bodies -- junior is his own pattern piece and Mom and
Dad are made from another single pattern piece which is
connected at the base. Glue the parts together so
they display as a single piece. Dad has the star
for treetop, Mom has an ornament and Junior has tangled
himself up in a miniature light set. |

The three snow family members are each
sewn and stuffed, then glued together to display as a
single piece 15" tall. Wire, stitch or glue the mini tree
to the finished family. These look totally awesome
when a set of 20 mini lights is added to the tree.
Sprinkle mica flakes over the piece for a vintage
looking holiday display. |

This 14" plump snow fellow made from
Warm & Natural cotton batting can be made up a couple of
different ways. For a more traditional snowman, leave
the batting natural and give him a coating of mica.
For a more primitive look, tea-stain and stiffen him.
Either way, he looks great when he's sitting inside a
grapevine or pine wreath. |

Who made the law that it has to be a
wreath on the front door? (Answer: the same person who
said that light bulbs have to be kept in the
hard-to-reach cupboard over the refrigerator.)
This 25" frosty snow lady with her kids is made from
Warm & Natural cotton batting and can greet your guests
as well. Finish her off with a bit of textured
snow and mica flakes for a really great look. |
